MARKETING AND COMMUNICATIONS COMMITTEE

Habitat for Humanity York Region is building homes, creating communities and transforming lives in York Region by providing safe and affordable housing for families in need in our community.  We are also building homes and working towards a time when each family in our community will have a home they can be proud to own.

Volunteers are critical to our success.  Our volunteers come from varying backgrounds and all walks of life.  Habitat for Humanity York Region aims to provide all our volunteers with a rich and rewarding experience.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Marketing and Communications Committee is responsible for assisting Habitat York staff in determining the appropriate tactics to increase awareness and support in the community, and developing the materials and resources necessary to execute on the approved operational plan.

COMPOSITION

The Marketing and Communications Committee is comprised of the Director of Development and 8 - 12 community volunteers.  The Committee will be supported by the Executive Director, staff and the Board of Directors as required.
