FUND DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE

Habitat for Humanity York Region is building homes, creating communities and transforming lives in York Region by providing safe and affordable housing for families in need in our community.  We are also building homes, working towards a time when each family in our community will have a home they can be proud to own.

Volunteers are critical to our success.  Our volunteers come from varying backgrounds and all walks of life.  Habitat for Humanity York Region aims to provide all our volunteers with a rich and rewarding experience.

The Fund Development Committee is responsible for assisting the Director of Development in establishing a donor base of individuals, corporations and foundations through the development and implementation of an annual fundraising plan.

The Fund Development Committee is comprised of the Director of Fund Development, at least one member of the Board of Directors and 10 - 12 community volunteers. The Committee will be supported by the Executive Director, staff and the Board of Directors as required.
