FAITH & OUTREACH COMMITTEE Habitat for Humanity York Region is building homes, creating communities and transforming lives in York Region by providing safe and affordable housing for families in need in our community. We are building homes, working towards a time when each family in our community will have a home they can be proud to own. Volunteers are critical to our success. Our volunteers come from varying backgrounds and all walks of life. Habitat for HumanityYork Region aims to provide all our volunteers with a rich and rewarding experience. # of available Committee positions: 5 POSITION SUMMARY The Faith and Outreach Committee seeks to strengthen the support of the work of Habitat for Humanity York Region by gaining volunteers, promotion, and financial resources from various community partners, including the faith communities, school boards and service clubs within York Region. COMPOSITION The Committee is comprised of the Director of Development, one member of the Board of Directors (preferred), and 6 - 12 community volunteers. The Committee will be supported by Habitat York staff and the Board of Directors as required.
