Land is one of our biggest obstacles here in York Region. Our goal over the next 3 years is to have a Habitat project in each of the 8 communities of York Region and Bradford West Gwillimbury.  Here is how you can help us in our efforts to help us find/purchase land:

DONATE - You can donate a gift designated to the purchase of land or add a bequest of land in your will.  Please phone our office at 905-868-8722/866-638-7242 x26 to find out more information. When you give a gift to Habitat, 100% of your donation will be directed to the purchase of land for our vital home building program.  All administrative costs are funded through revenue generated from our ReStore.

PARTICIPATE - Volunteer on our Site Selection Committee to find and evaluate potential land opportunities for Habitat builds.

ADVOCATE - Contact your local politicians to show your support for Habitat York.  Find out about their affordable housing initiatives and what their objectives are for families in your community.  Our Home Building Campaign will help address the housing crisis by providing further affordable housing for 22 families throughout York Region and leave critical social housing spaces for those who are most at risk in our community.

Your gifts, volunteerism and advocacy will go to support a new decade of affordable home ownership for families in York Region.  By donating to our $5.6 million fundraising campaign you are making it possible for more York Region families to have the opportunity to own a Habitat Home through the facilitation of land purchases.
