To support the Habitat affordable home ownership program and the local environment by providing low-cost new and used home and building supplies.

Help Us ReStore Hope

When you shop at Habitat York’s ReStores, the proceeds from your purchase first cover 100% of the operational and administrative costs of Habitat York. By covering these costs through ReStore proceeds, we are able to direct 100% of every dollar donated to building homes in York Region and Bradford West Gwillimbury. Not only are you saving money, you are also restoring hope for families by helping Habitat build safe and affordable homes.

Charitable Tax Receipt

With your donation to Habitat York’s ReStores, you will receive a charitable tax receipt or business receipt for the resale value of your donated goods.

Save Money

Save the labour and disposal charges when you donate to our salvage program. We will come and pick up large items including full kitchens (appliances, sinks, countertops and cabinets). As a shopper you can also save 50-75% off retail when you shop at the ReStore. The ReStore stocks continuously change items that are both new and used – contractors and designers love shopping with us!

Make Space: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle!

Do your part in reducing the amount of waste going into landfills by donating your items to the ReStore or shopping at the ReStore.
