The 3^rd Annual Ride for Habitat

  

The Ride for Habitat was a GREAT SUCCESS!

A total of 64 bikes and 90 people participated in the Ride for Habitat on Saturday, July 21, departing from various affiliates including;

Hamilton/Milton

Kitchener / Waterloo

Woodbridge/ Vaughan

40 bikers departed from the Vaughan ReStore and were joined by David Bowden, Chairman of the Board of Director's for Habitat Canada as well as Mark Kerr - Board of Director's for Habitat York, Phil Wasburn - Chair of the Family Selection at Habitat York, Bryon Disera- General Manager of the Habitat York ReStore's, Deb Copithorn - Vaughan Restore Assistant Manager and Eric Brown - Habitat York's Volunteer Photographer.    

The Third Annual Ride for Habitat was a success with raising a total of over $17,000 exceeding the goal of $15,000. All proceeds will go back to the affiliates participating in the Ride.
